Chemplast Sanmar is over fifty years old and is a part of the SHL Chemicals Group, which in turn is a constituent of the Sanmar Group, one among the oldest and most prominent corporate groups in South India.Fairfax India Holdings Corporation (Fairfax) a well-known international investor led by Mr Prem Watsa, based in Canada, has invested, through FIH Mauritius Investments Limited, in the SHL Chemicals Group since 2016. It is a major manufacturer of Speciality Chemicals such as Specialty Paste PVC resin and Custom Manufactured Chemicals for agro-chemical, pharmaceutical and fine chemicals sector. 

Chemplast Sanmar Custom Manufacturing Chemical Division Is conducting Walk-in interviews in Bengaluru.
Walk-In Interview Details:

• Venue: Hotel Southend by TGI
  Bommasandra, Electronic City, Bengaluru
• Date: December 16 & 17, 2023,
• Time: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Required Positions:
Process Engineer / Technology Transfer

• Process control, Process improvement, Process safety, PRA/HAZOP / material & energy balance.
  Scale-up-pilot process to commercialization
• B.E./B.Tech. Chemical Engineering, 3-6 years exp.

Process Safety Engineer

• Process safety lab, related instruments, Documentation maintenance, Maintenance of Process Safety lab equipment in line with good lab practices
• B.E./B.Tech. Chemical Engineering, 3-6 years exp.

Production Chemist

• Experienced in chemical (batch process) industry and in handling reactor, solvent recovery, distillation drier & scrubber
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, 3-6 years exp.

Shift In-charge (Production)

• DCS, HAZOPS, HAZMAT & HIRA process, BMR Management
• Handling multiple disciplinary issues
• B.E./B.Tech. Chemical Engineering, 5-8 years exp.

Research Officer (R&D)

• Design & perform experience.
• Support scale-up in new product introduction. Adherence to standards /systems
  
• M.Sc. Chemistry / Organic chemistry, 2-8 years exp.

Chemist – Quality / Kilo Lab Chemist

• HPLC, GC, ICP OES & LCMS, GCMS, NMR ISO-9001, cGMP, Chemical Safety, GLP practice & documentation, Maintenance of Process Safety lab equipment
• M.Sc. Chemistry/ Organic chemistry, 2-6 years exp.

Chemist – Analytical Method Development

• Experience in Method development, Methods of analysis.
• HPLC, GC preferably in ICP OES & LCMS, GCMS, NMR
• M.Sc. Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry, 2-6 years exp.

• Candidates with API Pharmaceutical / Agro-chemical /Chemical industry experience are preferred
