Positions under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Funded Adhoc Project
Research Center, ClIMS, Nagpur invites applications for following post under ICMR, Govt of India funded project entitled A shotgun Metagenomics sequencing approach for studying etiology of undiagnosed Meningoencephalitis infection in tertiary care Hospital setting”

Essential Qualification

M.Sc life sciences (Biotech
Microbiology/Biochemistry) with minimum
one years of research experience inbMolecular biology

Desirable: Candidates with earlier
experience of molecular biology (RNA/DNA
extraction, quantification)& sequencing
(Library preparation, seq data analysis)
along with experience on working on clinical
samples

General support staff(n=1)

Monthly Emoluments: INR 15,800+10%

Essential Qualification

M.Sc life sciences (Biotech Microbiology/Biochemistry) with good molecular biology skills

Desirable: Experience of working in Hospital
settings/ Clinical lab and handling infectious
samples

All positions are temporary and co terminus with the project.

Contract may be terminated any time by giving one months’ notice.

Candidates with Desirable qualification will be given frst preference.
